Cobbydog - FAQs | Helpful Answers To All Your Dog Food Questions

Find answers to all your questions regarding Cobbydog dog food and our service.

Is my dog underweight?

You should be able to tell by feeling down the sides of your dog. The ribs of a fit and healthy dog can be felt without pushing through layers of fat. If all the ribs are actually visible there is a possibility that he is underweight. A trip to the vet may be in order as they will be able to tell you what action, if any, is needed.

How can I help my dog lose weight?

Overweight dogs can be prone to illnesses such as heart disease, diabetes and chronic fatigue. Too much weight affects a dog's joints and can cause arthritis. It is therefore important to try to keep your dog's weight at a healthy level. Our feeding chart will give you an estimate of how much to feed your dog. In addition, just like humans, dogs need plenty of exercise and not so many lovely treats!

Do I feed Cobbydog dog food dry or with water?

It is possible to do either. Some dogs prefer it with a little bit of water, or even gravy, and some like it dry.
